🔮 New Age

“All religions are just different paths up the same mountain. God is the universe, cosmic energy, or the higher self within all of us.”

Contradictory truth claims cannot all be true simultaneously. The Creator is transcendent and distinct from the universe.

💡 Ask them back“If Islam teaches Jesus was not crucified, Christianity teaches Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, and Buddhism teaches there is no personal God at all, how can all three be true at the same time? If two opposite directions are both true, does the word 'truth' mean anything at all?”

🔮 New Age

“I believe in reincarnation and karma. My soul will evolve through multiple lifetimes until I achieve enlightenment.”

Reincarnation offers no real forgiveness or grace—only endless cycles of payment for sins you cannot remember. Christ offers immediate and complete redemption.

💡 Ask them back“Under the law of karma, if you suffer in this life for sins committed in a past life that you have zero memory of, how can that ever bring genuine moral reform or justice? And if we are slowly evolving spiritually, why is the world still filled with wars, greed, and cruelty after thousands of years?”

🔮 New Age

“Jesus was just an enlightened spiritual master or mystic who tapped into the 'Christ Consciousness' that is inside all of us.”

Jesus never taught that humanity is inherently divine. He called humans sinners needing repentance and claimed to be the unique Savior.

💡 Ask them back“Did Jesus ever say 'You are all little gods'? In Luke 13:3, Jesus said: 'Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.' Why would a spiritual master call everyone to repent if they were already divine?”

🔮 New Age

“I'm spiritual but not religious. I don't need organized religion to connect with the divine.”

Affirm the spiritual hunger—Jesus also opposed dead religion. But spirituality without truth can connect you to the wrong spirit; Jesus offers not a religious system but a relationship with God in spirit and truth.

💡 Ask them back“I love that you're spiritually hungry—so was the woman Jesus met at a well (John 4). But how do you know that the spiritual experiences you have come from God and not from something counterfeit? What do you use to test them?”

🔮 New Age

“I don't need God—I manifest what I want. The universe gives back whatever energy you put out.”

A hopeful, focused mind can change how we act, but thoughts do not command reality—and the idea leaves us blaming the suffering and carrying our own failures. God is a Person, not a force to be used: He invites us to pray to Him as Father, not to control Him.

💡 Ask them back“If our thoughts create our reality, what does that say to a child born into war, or a friend who gets cancer—did they attract it? And is "the universe" a Person who loves you and forgives you, or just a force? What happens when it doesn't give you what you asked for?”
