"From Your Midst, From Your Brethren":
Deuteronomy 18:15 says: "The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren." Deuteronomy defines its own terms: the Levites have no inheritance "among their brethren" (18:2)—meaning the other tribes of Israel—and Israel's king must be "from among your brethren," not "a foreigner, who is not your brother" (17:15). In Deuteronomy, "brethren" means fellow Israelites. The promised prophet comes from Israel.

What "Like Moses" Means:
Deuteronomy 34:10-12 defines what made Moses unique: "whom the LORD knew face to face," and "all the signs and wonders" he performed. Jesus knew the Father face to face (John 1:18), performed signs and wonders, mediated a covenant in His blood (Luke 22:20), and delivered His people. By Islamic tradition's own account, Muhammad received revelation through an angel (Jibril), not face to face with God.

The New Testament Applies It to Jesus:
Peter preached in Jerusalem that Jesus is the prophet Moses foretold (Acts 3:22-26), and the crowds said of Jesus, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world" (John 6:14).

The Paraclete Is the Holy Spirit:
Jesus identifies the Helper (paraklētos) plainly:

He is "the Spirit of truth," whom "the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him" (John 14:17)—invisible, not a man seen by the world.
"He dwells with you and will be in you" (14:17)—He would live inside the disciples.
He will "abide with you forever" (14:16), and the Father sends Him "in My name" (14:26)—"the Helper, the Holy Spirit."

Periklytos and "Ahmad" (Surah 61:6):
Some Muslims suggest the original Greek said periklytos ("praised one," like Ahmad) rather than paraklētos ("helper"). But every known Greek manuscript of John—including papyri from around AD 200—reads paraklētos; not one reads periklytos.

You can sayIn the broadest sense, yes. But Deuteronomy defines its own terms: the king must be "from among your brethren," not "a foreigner" (17:15), and the Levites have no inheritance "among their brethren," meaning the other tribes (18:2). Verse 15 adds "from your midst." Moses was telling Israel about a prophet who would come from Israel.
