Jesus Predicted His Physical Body Would Rise:
In John 2:19-21, Jesus said: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up... But He was speaking of the temple of HIS BODY." If His physical body was not raised, His prophecy failed!

Jesus Demonstrated a Physical Body:

In Luke 24:41-43, Jesus asked for food and ate broiled fish in front of them to show He was physically real.
In John 20:27, Jesus told Thomas: "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side."
Spirits don't have flesh and bones, scars, or eat fish.

You can sayPeter is contrasting two realms—He died in the weakness of the flesh and was raised by the power of the Spirit (the NKJV reads "made alive by the Spirit"). He isn't saying Jesus became a spirit instead of a body. The same Peter preached that "His flesh did not see corruption" (Acts 2:31) and that the apostles "ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead" (Acts 10:41).

They say“Jesus materialized a body to appear to the disciples, the way angels did for Abraham. That's why they didn't always recognize him and why he could appear in locked rooms.”

You can sayJesus didn't say, "This is a borrowed body." He pointed to the nail wounds and said, "It is I Myself" (Luke 24:39), and invited Thomas to touch His side. A substitute body with imitation wounds would be a deception. A glorified body can pass through locked doors and still be flesh and bones—that is the point of resurrection: the same body, transformed.
