Jesus said that whoever looks upon a woman with lust has committed adultery already in his heart. If God judged you by the Ten Commandments on Judgment Day, would you be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell?”

The Mirror of the Law (Galatians 3:24):
The Law is the tutor that brings us to Christ. You don't wash your face with a mirror; the mirror merely shows you that your face is dirty! The Ten Commandments show us that we are morally bankrupt before a holy God.

Guilty of One, Guilty of All:
James 2:10: "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all." If a criminal murders someone, he cannot tell the judge: "Look at all the red lights I didn't run, and look at all the taxes I paid!" A good judge must punish the crime.

The Courtroom Analogy:
Imagine standing before a judge with a massive stack of criminal offenses. The judge finds you guilty and sentences you to life imprisonment or a $10 million fine you cannot pay. As you are about to be led away in handcuffs, someone steps forward, writes a check for the full amount, and pays your fine in full! The judge bangs the gavel: "You are free to go." That is what Jesus did on the Cross!

You can sayYou're right that everyone has sinned—that's exactly the problem (Romans 3:23). But "everybody does it" doesn't work in court: a judge doesn't release a thief because other people steal too. God understands perfectly, and that's why His judgment will be perfectly just. The good news is that He also made a way out—Jesus paid the fine.

They say“My good deeds outweigh my bad ones. God grades on a curve.”

You can sayWhere does the Bible say God grades on a curve? If a man committed one murder but did thousands of kind deeds, would a good judge let him go? Good deeds are what we owe anyway—they don't erase crimes. Only a paid fine clears the record, and that's what Jesus did: "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us" (2 Corinthians 5:21).
