Discussion
(Matthew 16:19) Jesus has given us the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. What we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and what we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. (Luke 10:19) He has given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, that nothing will by any means harm us. He gave us the great commission in (Mark 16:15-18) where He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” When we are under the authority of Jesus, we have the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, the authority over all the powers of the enemy, and the commission to preach the gospel, cast out demons, and nothing will hurt us.
Prayer
Father God, I thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, who died for my sins. I thank you that through Jesus’ sacrificial death and resurrection, I have been redeemed. I declare that I am fully submitted to my Lord Jesus Christ. It is no longer I who live but Christ that lives in me (Galatians 2:20). I thank you, God, that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is in me. I have been given the keys, the authority, and the commission to go to bring the gospel to all nations, but also over all the power of the enemy. I repent and renounce all my sins and all the sins of my ancestors on my mother’s side and father’s side, all the way back to Adam and Eve, and for the generations going forward. I bind every spirit that is not of the Holy Spirit that came in through any of these sins and I command them to leave me now and go to the pit, never to return. I declare that all of God’s blessings that belonged to all of my generations are loosed over my life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
