Discussion

The first and most important step for life and deliverance is to call on the name of Jesus and submit your whole life to Him. This includes repenting for your sins, which is turning away from those sins, receiving forgiveness, and accepting Him and His ways as your Lord and Savior. Jesus paid for sin and the punishment of all mankind on the cross. Accepting Jesus and getting baptized is the foundation for all deliverance, healing, and sanctification. It is also the beginning of a beautiful relationship with the lover of your soul, who loved you so much that He gave His life to rescue and restore you.

Prayer

(Read each of the following Prayers out loud.)

Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, that I have fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus, I repent for my sins, and I ask you to forgive me. I renounce Satan and all his works. Jesus, I believe that you were born, lived a sinless life, and then died on the cross for my sins. I believe that you were raised to life on the third day and that you now sit at the right hand of the Father interceding on my behalf.

I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. I ask you, Jesus, to be my God and my source of life, to be my Lord and Savior, to be the King on the throne of my heart. I submit my life and my will to you; may your will be done in my life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
