Continual
A 24/7 prayer display — cycling scripture, declarations, and intercession continuously on any screen.
Purpose
Continual is designed to run unattended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a TV, monitor, tablet, or phone inside a prayer meeting, church, or personal devotional space. It cycles through Bible verses, declarations, intercession prayers, and proclamations — each displayed over a full-screen background image with optional spoken narration and background worship music.
Content is organized into categories (e.g. Praise, Worship, Israel, Spiritual Warfare). Each category contains chunks — JSON files of ~15-minute segments. The player shuffles or sequences these chunks and loops forever, so the display never goes dark.
Design
Background Images
Full-screen images cycle per-section with a slow Ken Burns pan/zoom. Two layers (A & B) crossfade so transitions are seamless.
Text Box
Centered over the background with configurable opacity, color, corner radius, gold glow, and gold border. Content fades in with an animated entry (scale, drift, materialize, or plain fade).
Dual Audio
Looping background worship music (crossfades between tracks) plus per-section spoken narration. Both have independent volume controls and master toggles. Section timing is driven by narration length when audio is present.

Kiosk Mode
Add ?kiosk=1 to the URL to hide the gear icon and skip the splash screen — ideal for unattended TV displays.
Settings Panel
Open with the ⚙ gear icon (top-right) or press S. Settings are saved to browser localStorage and encoded into the shareable URL.
Page Title
Browser tab title and social share card title.
Categories
Checkboxes for which content categories to include. Unchecking all means "play everything."
Font Theme
7 curated typographic themes. Press F to cycle.
Text Size
5 sizes from Small to XX-Large. Press + / - to adjust.
Text Animation
None · Scale · Drift Up · Materialize. Press T to cycle.
Container Width
Narrow (60%) · Standard (80%) · Wide (90%) · Full (96%).
Padding
5 levels of inner text-box breathing room. Press ← → to cycle.
Corner Rounding
0 = sharp corners · 20 = soft (default) · 50 = very round.
Text Box Opacity
0 = fully transparent · 1 = solid. Combine with background color for tinted overlays.
Text Box Background
Color of the text card (combined with opacity).
Text Color
Color of the verse / prayer text.
Solid Background Color
Shown when "Hide Background Images" is enabled.
Narration
Master on/off for spoken audio. Volume slider 0.5 – 10.
Background Music
Master on/off for worship music loop. Volume slider 0.5 – 10.
Pause Between Sections
Seconds of silence between each section (0.5 – 10).
General Speed
How long non-narrated sections stay on screen. Narrated sections always play their full audio.
Randomness
On = shuffle chunks randomly. Off = alphabetical categories, numeric chunks.
Hide Background Images
Removes photo backgrounds; shows a solid color instead.
Text Box Gold Glow
Soft gold halo radiating from the text card edges. Also turns HR divider lines gold.
Text Box Gold Border
Thin gold border around the text card. Also turns HR divider lines gold.
Banner Image
Shows a banner at the top of the screen (set via ?banner= URL param, toggled here).
